Passengers who purchase a flight to Frankfurt can land in one of the two airports in the city. The main airport is Flughafen Frankfurt am Main, where flights to Frankfurt operated by Lufthansa and other international carriers land, the other is Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, with flights to Frankfurt operated by Ryanair. Terminal 2 of Frankfurt Airport is divided into two Halls, D and E. How to get to Frankfurt from Frankfurt airport
Flughafen Frankfurt am Main, is connected to the city centre by train. Inside the airport there are two stations, both located in Terminal 1: AIRail Terminal, where long distance trains arrive at Frankfurt Central Station and the local S-Bahn train that takes ten minutes to get to downtown.
Regular buses connect the airport to Frankfurt city centre, stopping in the square in front of Terminal 1 where there are also Lufthansa Airport shuttles. Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is connected to the Frankfurt Central Station by public bus lines instead. Some connect the airport with the main airport in Frankfurt and then from there it is possible to take the train to reach Frankfurt central station.
Those who prefer to reach the city centre by car can rent a car at Frankfurt Airport and then deliver it at one of the certified car rental agencies in the city.
